Prototype

The wooden base is insulated with rubber feet underneath. 

The cable has a cutout in the aluminum body with a rubber gasket. 

The cables inside the lamp are contained within a chamber underneath the lamp.

The lamp is touch controlled and has multiple light settings ; weak, medium, strong and off. The user just needs to touch the front cover to change settings. The front cover also moves to create a slight opening at the bottom front area. 

The LED light bulb does not heat up the aluminum body. 

The whole assembly is held by 4 screws and 2 acorn nuts.
